Sam Mézec

Senator Sam Mézec (Samuel Yves Mézec, born 26 December 1990, in Jersey) is a Reform Jersey politician. He was the deputy for St. Helier District No. 2 from 2014 to 2018 and currently holds a Senatorial seat in the States of Jersey. He is the Party Leader of Reform Jersey.

Political career

He was the deputy for St. Helier's No. 2 District after winning that seat in a by-election on 5 March 2014. He held the seat in the general election held later that year on 15 October.

He co-founded and is the chairman of the Reform Jersey political party, which is the only active political party in Jersey.[1] He stood in the senatorial by-election held on 7 September 2016 but came second to Sarah Ferguson.

He successfully gained a senatorial seat in the 2018 general election.
