Shae Dupuy has been nominated for the 2018 CMAO 'Rising Star' awards. In 2017, she was nominated for the CCMA (Canadian Country Music Association) 'Interactive Artist or Group of the Year' award, in response to the success of her #strongisbeautiful campaign, which launched on April 1, 2017, to promote mind, body, and spirit positivity.[2][3] In 2016, Dupuy was nominated for the CMAO 'Rising Star' and 'Music Video of the Year' awards (for her songs, Tin Man and Drink About It, respectively).[4]

Shae Dupuy headlined the 2018 'Let The Good Times Roll' tour, in which she performed dates across Canada, making stops in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Alberta. In 2015, she notably opened for Dallas Smith and Jess Moskaluke at the 2015 Music In The Fields festival.[5]

Career

Following a period of summering in Los Angeles to hone her skills through collaborations with other songwriters,[6] Shae Dupuy began her career as a recording artist in 2014, with the release of both her debut single, Grandpa’s Truck, as well as her debut studio EP, Breakdown, in June of that year. Both the single and EP attracted the attention of CMT (Country Music Television Canada), which named her its ‘Fresh Face Artist’ for October 2014.[7]

Her second EP, Brave, was released on October 28, 2016; a collection of two previous singles joined by five new tracks written in Nashville. Jeff Johnson and Jason Barry produced the EP.[8]

As of 2017, Dupuy regularly stays in Nashville, Tennessee to collaborate with professional songwriters who are based in the city's world-famous country music scene. She has continued writing new songs throughout 2017 and 2018 in preparation for her debut LP.

In 2018, Shae embarked on her Let The Good Times Roll tour, promoting her release Brave, as well as unreleased music. The tour took her across Canada, from PEI to British Columbia. Supporting acts on the tour included Kris Barclay, Nicole Sumerlyn and Aaron Pollock.[9] Shae was also a featured opener for Cold Creek County on their 2018 Tour.
