Shonkhonil Karagar (novel)
Flowers of Flame (Originally,Bengali: শঙ্খনীল কারাগার, lit. 'Conch Blue Prison (Shonkhonil Karagar') is a 1973 novel by Bangladeshi author Humayun Ahmed.[3] It was his second book after his debut novel Nondito Noroke (later translated to In Blissful Hell). The cover art is by popular painter Qayyum Chowdhury.[4]

Adaptation
The book was made into the 1992 film with the same title, starring Zafar Iqbal, Champa, Dolly Johur, Abul Hayat, Suborna Mustafa and Asaduzzaman Noor.[6]
