Background
Skała was Kayah's first studio album in six years. Its title references her first self-written album, Kamień (English: Stone). Musically, the album explores pop music with soul and jazz influences. It debuted at number 1 in Polish albums chart, and was certified platinum within a month.[2] To promote the album, Kayah embarked on an acoustic concert tour, and released two singles: "Jak skała" and "Ocean spokojny już".
