Songadh (Saurashtra)

Songadh is a town in Bhavnagar District of Saurashtra in Gujarat, India. It is 8 km from Sihor town and 28 km from Bhavnagar town.

Importance

Kanji Swami, a mystical teacher of Jainism, spent about forty years at Songadh so the village has become major pilgrim place of his Digambara Jain followers. In 2010, a 41.5 feet idol of Lord Bahubali was also installed here.[1][2]

1. Param Agam Mandir, literally meaning Temple of Sacred Texts. Walls of this temple are carved with the Digambar Jain sacred texts of Samayasāra

5. Man Stambhaji
6. Jinendra Dharmasabha - Simandhar God's Religious Court
7. Samadhi Mandir in memory of Kanji Swami
