Sophie Nijman
Sophie Nijman (born 16 April 1986 in Heino) is a Dutch former long track speed skater, who was active until 2013.[1] Nijman was a sprinter, specialized in the 1000 metres.

Nijman represented her nation at the World Sprint Speed Skating Championships for Women in 2010, finishing 13th overall and was the best Dutch woman.[2] She participated at the 2006-07 and 2009-10 ISU Speed Skating World Cups in the 1000 metres.[2]
Between 2006 and 2012 she had a total of 13 starts at national championships, but never won a medal at national championships.[2]
Nijman skated for Team Anker (2010-2012), VPZ-sprintgroep and MKBasics.nl since the 2012-13 speed skating season.
