The school has been rated by the Gujarat Secondary Education Board as among the top 20 Gujarati schools in Ahmedabad.
The school was founded in 1956 as an all-boys school by the Reverend Father Fernando Arellano, S. J. It began a transition to mixed-sex education in 2006.[1]
