History
The parish of Msida was created in 1867 by Archbishop Gaetano Pace Forno and the church of the Immaculate Conception was chosen as the first parish church. A larger church dedicated to St Joseph was built. Works were finished by 1889. The church was consecrated on April 22, 1894. [1] [2] [3]
