Many famous Danish artists and musicians have started their career with a stint in the band.
In 1984 Street Beat recorded two singles for Steinar Records in London. The first record was one of the first European female rap (by Cæcilie Norby, later internationally known jazz singer).
The only album was Gaga Jungle Land, released in 1986 and only in Denmark.
Street Beat started off as a funky almost bigband but became much more rockorientated later on.
