Sunny Singh (actor)
Sunny Singh Nijjar (born October 6, 1985) is an Indian actor.[1] Sunny Singh Nijjar made his film debut with a brief role in Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji (2011), followed by a role in Akaash Vani (2013). His first commercial success was the buddy film Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), his highest-grossing release came in 2018 with the comedy Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.[2]

Career
In 2007, Nijjar made his television debut through the Star Plus-popular running series Kasautii Zindagii Kay, where he played the love interest of the character played by Kratika Sengar. In 2009, he played Karan in Shakuntala.
In 2011, Nijar began his film career with Madhur Bhandarkar's comedy Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, where he made a cameo appearance. Starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, and Omi Vaidya. But the film was not a box office success.
In 2013, he starred as an antagonist alongside Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha in Luv Ranjan's romantic drama Akaash Vani, which was a commercial failure too.[3]
In 2015, Nijar reteamed with Ranjan for Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, a sequel to the 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama and co-starring Aaryan, Bharucha, Omkar Kapoor and Sonnalli Seygall. With a worldwide total of ₹88 crore (US$12 million), it emerged as Nijar's commercial success.[4]
Nijar's highest-grossing release came in 2018 when he teamed with Ranjan for the third time in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety co-starring Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha. He played the role of Titu, a man whose friend, played by Aaryan, tries to separate him from his fiancée, played by Bharucha.[5]
In 2019, Nijar had a cameo appearance in Akiv Ali's directorial debut, De De Pyaar De, a romantic comedy film about a 50-year-old businessman who falls in love with a 26-year-old girl, and starring Ajay Devgn opposite Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu.[6] He was also in Jhootha Kahin Ka alongside Kapoor and Jimmy Sheirgill.
Sunny's first release as Solo actor was Ujda Chaman which was on the concept of baldness.[7] His performance was appreciated but the film only become a moderate hit.[8]
Nijar's latest release was Jai Mummy Di, a romantic comedy starring Sonnalli Seygall, Supriya Pathak, and Poonam Dillon, directed by Navjot Gulati. The film released on 17 January 2020.[9] and performed poorly on box office by collecting 0.9 crore on box office.
