Susanna Tapani
Susanna Tapani (born 2 March 1993) is a Finnish ice hockey and ringette player, member of the Finnish national ice hockey team, and captain of the Finnish national ringette team. She currently plays with Raision Nuorisokiekko (RNK Raisio) of the Finnish Championship Ringette Series (Finnish: Ringeten SM-sarja). Tapani has played ice hockey in the Naisten Liiga with TPS Naiset, Lukko Naiset, Espoo Blues Naiset, and HPK Kiekkonaiset; in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Linköping HC Dam; and with the North Dakota Fighting Hawks during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season.[1] Most recently, she played with the TPS Juniorijääkiekko men's under-18 team (TPS U18 Akatemia) of the U18 Mestis/U18 Suomi-sarja during the 2019–20 and 2020–21 seasons, until scheduling conflicts forced her to leave the team in November 2020.[2]

She participated at the 2015 IIHF Women's World Championship.[3]
International career
Tapani was selected for the Finland women's national ice hockey team in the 2014 Winter Olympics. She played in all six games, scoring one goal and adding four assists.[4]
As of 2014, Tapani has also appeared for Finland at three IIHF Women's World Championships. Her first appearance came in 2011, where she won a bronze medal.[5][6][7][8]
Tapani made three appearances for the Finland women's national under-18 ice hockey team, at the IIHF World Women's U18 Championships, with the first in 2009. She won a bronze medal as part of the team in 2011.[9][10][11]
