The Bank operates 3 branches and provides regular ATM service as well as online, mobile, USSD and SMS banking services.[3]

History

The institution was founded in 2019, as TAJBank Limited. On 3 July 2019, TAJBank received a license from the Central Bank of Nigeria, the national banking regulator, to operate as a regional bank.[4] On 2 December 2019, the institution commenced business as TAJBank Limited in offices and branches in Abuja.[5]

On 12th of December, 2019, TAJBank opened its second branch at Kano in the process of expanding to other urban centers in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.[6] In pursuit of that goal, the bank launched TAJXPRESS, the bank's full-service financial inclusion suite as a part of its drive to significantly boost financial inclusion in Nigeria.[7]

On 24th of August, 2020, TAJBank expanded its operation by opening its third branch at Sokoto State, Nigeria.[8]

TAJBank, announces a 150 billion Naira Sukuk Bond as appointed by the Federal Government of Nigeria as a receiving agent, making it the first time the bank will be acting in that capacity.[9]
