Career
Before signing for Chennai City FC in the Indian top flight, Samdup was unable to play in the Indian highest division due to not having an Indian passport, despite being born there. After some unsuccessful trials with various teams, he worked as an English teacher for monks.[2]
In 2018, Samdup played for the Tibet national team at the 2018 CONIFA World Football Cup, which was one of few tournaments the teams has ever competed in.[2]
In 2018, he signed for Chennai City in the Indian I-League, where he made one league appearance before joining Real Kashmir FC.
