Club career
On account of executing unnecessary skill moves in a fixture versus rivals Kaizer Chiefs, a British newspaper denigrated him- they complained: 'With his side two goals up and in stoppage time, Pirates midfielder thought he'd do a bit of showing off'.[2] [3]
One infuriated devout Kaizer Chiefs F.C. fan immediately responded by writing a personal negative letter to Rakhale, encouraging him to continue displaying skill, just as long as he doesn't do it against Kaizer Chiefs.[4]
His ambition is to play for the national team. In addition he revealed that 'he'd do anything to play for Bafana '.[5]
Indefinitely sent to the substitute bench in October 2016, the skillful winger and Thabo Qalinge(who both coincidentally share the same first name) were left from the playing squad. Their coach, Turkish-born Muhsin Ertugral insisted it was since Rakhale was injured and Qalinge needs to improve his game.[6]
After watching two games from the bench, the manager decided that he was fit to play in the upcoming game adverse to former club Polokwane City F.C..[7]
