Plot

The film chronicles the life of Italian violinist and composer Niccolò Paganini, who rose to fame as a virtuoso in the early 19th Century. It begins with his youth as a childhood violinist pushed by his demanding father through his beginnings in Italy and then to his performances and acclaim in London under the guidance of the mysterious Urbani.

Music

Violinist David Garrett performs many of Paganini's pieces throughout the film, including the Caprice No. 24 in A minor and the Carnival of Venice.

The English version of 'Io Ti Penso Amore', features lead vocals by Nicole Scherzinger. During the movie, Andrea Deck provides vocals sung in Italian.

Release

The film premiered on 31 October 2013 in Germany, 5 December 2013 in Ukraine, 27 February 2014 in Italy and had its USA premiere on 10 March 2014 at the Miami International Film Festival.
