The Red Moon EP
The Red Moon EP is an EP by the British band Turin Brakes. While released on Source Records, it was only available on the band's 2005 United Kingdom tour, although it was released digitally after the tour. The EP was inspired by the acoustic sound used during the radio sessions that the band had performed during their US tour in summer 2005. The final track, the Red Hot Chili Peppers' song "Breaking the Girl", is taken from one of those sessions. The other three tracks were recorded in a studio. The title track was previously released on Jackinabox, but appears here in an unplugged version. "Jet Trail" had been in and out of the band's live set list since 2001, but had not been released before. "Love Is All You Deserve" was a new song, written for the EP.
