Time Cruise
Time Cruise is a sci-fi themed pinball video game released for the Turbografx-16 game system on November 8, 1991. The game was released exclusively on the Turbografx-16 to compete against the popular Crush series of pinball video games by Compile.[1] The game was followed up with a sequel, Time Cruise II.[2]
Gameplay
The core game mechanic is that the pinball can activate time machines. This allows the ball to travel to different bonus tables located in different areas of time. As opposed to most pinball video games, the tables in Time Cruise can move horizontally as well as vertically.[1]
Critical reception
In March 1993, a critic at GamePro magazine praised Time Cruise for its visuals and controls. However, the game's audio and soundtrack were heavily criticized and being the weakest aspect of the game.[3]
