He started his youth career in Årdalstangen and started training with senior team Årdal FK in 2011.[1] In 2014 he joined the regional greats Sogndal who played in Eliteserien.[2] After one season there he returned to Årdal.[3] Prolific goalscoring led to new chances on the second and fourth tier with Florø and Lysekloster.[4] In 2019, his fourth spell in Årdal ended with 37 league goals, the fourth highest tally in the top five Norwegian league tiers.[5]
