U. N. Mehta
Uttambhai Nathalal Mehta (1923 - 1998) was an Indian businessman, the founder and chairman of Torrent Group.

Mehta was born in Mehmadpur village in Palanpur district, India.[1] He graduated from Bombay's Wilson College.[1]
He started his career as a medical representative for the pharmaceutical company Sandoz in the 1940s.[2]
Mehta and his wife Shardaben, had four children, sons Sudhir and Samir, and daughters Meena and Nayna.[1]
