Uthangarai
Uthangarai is a Taluk, Town Panchayat in Krishnagiri district in the Tamil Nadu state of India . Uthangarai state Legislative assembly is a part of krishnagiri loksabha constituency.Uthangarai Town Panchayat is constituted during the year of 1970. The Town is coming under the administrative territory of Krishnagiri District. The Town extends over an area of 17.04 sq.km. The Town is situated along 12 KM North South of Hanumantheertham and lies on the Uthangarai – Harur Road. It is a Pilgrim Place in ancient epic and tourist centre. The population of the town as per 2011 census is 18470.
