Description
The VECTOR was designed by a consortium of Dutch defense and automotive companies as a replacement for the Mercedes-Benz Geländewagen 290.[1] Development began in 2013, with the new tactical vehicle's design incorporating features inspired by the Dutch Special Forces' combat experience in Afghanistan. A major requirement for the vehicle was the ability for it to be air-lifted by helicopter.[1]
Defenture delivered the first 50 VECTOR's in December 2017.[2]
