West District Men's Hockey Divisions

West District Hockey currently runs 3 men's outdoor divisions and 2 men's indoor divisions. The leagues are run by the West District committee. The season runs from September to April, with indoor running from December to February. The winner of division 1 is declared the West District Champion!

West District Men's Division 1

Division 1 is the top division in the West District and is in tier 3 of Scottish Hockey's leagues system. Winners of division 1 are crowned district champions however they do not get promoted. Teams may choose to go up to the Regional League. It is normal for 2 teams to get relegated from division 1.

There have been as many as 6 divisions in the west district however in recent years it has alternated between 3 and 4. Currently there are 2 other divisions below division 1.
