Yelena Sokhryakova

Yelena Sokhryakova also written as Jelena Sokhrjakova or Elena Sokhryakova (Russian: Елена Сохрякова; born 4 November 1990 in Ivanovo) is a Russian long track speed skater who is active since 2004.[1]

As a junior she became junior national champion in 2010 and won the bronze medal at the 2010 World Junior Speed Skating Championships in the team pusruit. At elite level Sokhryakova represented her nation at the 2013 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships (3000 metres event (23rd)); 2019 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships (3000 metres event (10th) and 5000 metres event (8th)) and 2020 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships (3000 metres event (disqualified), 5000 metres event (10th) and mass start event (15th)).[2] She won at the 2017 Winter Universiade the bronze medal in the 3000 metres event. She also competes at other international competitions, including at ISU Speed Skating World Cups.[2]

She became national champion at the 2011 Russian Single Distance Championships in the 3000 metres and 5000 metres.[2]
