The song is a dramatic ballad, with Inga telling an apparently erstwhile lover that if he comes to her, "then you will know the answer". She seems prepared to wait quite some time for this to occur.
It was performed ninth on the night (following Malta's William Mangion with "This Time" and preceding Austria's Tony Wegas with "Maria Magdalena"). At the close of voting, it had received 42 points, placing 13th in a field of 25.
The song was succeeded as Icelandic representative at the 1994 Contest by Sigga with Nætur.
