Bihar Legislative Assembly election, 1972 was held in 1972 to elect members to the Bihar Legislative Assembly[1].This is a list of the results of the 1972 general election to the Legislative Assembly of Bihar, a state in India, including a list of successful candidates. After the elections, the Congress emerged as the largest party, and Kedar Pandey was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar (19 March 1972- 02 July 1973), after Abdul Gafoor become the Chief Minister of Bihar from ( 02 July 1973-11 April 1975) and also Jagannath Mishra became the Chief Minister of Bihar from (11 April 1975-30 April 1977 ).
