1986–87 New York Rangers season

The 1986–87 New York Rangers season was the 61st season for the team in the National Hockey League (NHL).[1] During the regular season, the Rangers finished in fourth place in the Patrick Division with 76 points, and qualified for the NHL playoffs. New York was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Philadelphia Flyers.[2]
