The 1986 Cork Intermediate Hurling Championship was the 77th staging of the Cork Intermediate Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1909.

On 17 August 1986, Cloughduv won the championship following a 2-12 to 0-11 defeat of Erin's Own in the final at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.[1] This as their fifth championship title overall and their first title since 1983.
