1988 Indiana Hoosiers football team
The 1988 Indiana Hoosiers football team represented Indiana University in the 1988 NCAA Division I-A football season. Playing as a member of the Big Ten Conference (Big Ten), the team was led by head coach Bill Mallory, in his fifth year, and played their home games at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana. They finished the season with a record of eight wins, three losses and one tie (8–3–1 overall, 5–3 in the Big Ten) and with a victory over South Carolina in the Liberty Bowl.
