1995 Sint Maarten general election

General elections were held in Sint Maarten on April 7, 1995. The Democratic Party (DP) and the Sint Maarten Patriotic Alliance (SPA) both won five seats, with the other seat in the 11-seat Island council going to the Serious Alternative People's Party (SAPP). The DP and SAPP agreed to form a coalition government.[1]

Aftermath
In October 1995 the government collapsed after the resignation of one member of the DP and two from the SAPP.[1]
