2002 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters
The 2002 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters was the sixteenth season of premier German touring car championship and also third season under the moniker of Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since the series' resumption in 2000. There were ten race weekends with two races; a 30 km qualifying race and a 100 km main race at each event.

Rule changes for 2002
- The F1-style standing start were introduced for the first time.
- All DTM entrants began utilizing the HANS device from 2002 season onwards to protect driver's head and neck from a risk of injury.

Race calendar and winners
Unlike the previous two seasons, only six rounds were held in Germany, after Nürburging went from three weekends to just one. The two rounds were replaced by Zolder in Belgium and Donington Park in the United Kingdom.

Each round featured a "Qualifying Race", and the "Main Race".
