- October 29: The 2017 PBA draft took place in Midtown Atrium, Robinson Place Manila.[1]
- October 30: Jayjay Helterbrand officially announced his retirement after playing 17 seasons in the PBA, all of them with the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel franchise.[2]
