2017 Nicholls State Colonels football team

The 2017 Nicholls State Colonels football team represented Nicholls State University in the 2017 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Colonels were led by third-year head coach Tim Rebowe and edtheir home games at Manning Field at John L. Guidry Stadium. They played as a member of the Southland Conference. They finished the season 8–4, 7–2 in Southland play to finish in a tie for third place. They received an at-large bid to the FCS Playoffs where they were defeated by South Dakota in the first round.
