2017 Wayne State Warriors football team

The 2017 Wayne State Warriors football team represented Wayne State University in the 2017 NCAA Division II football season. They were led by 14th year head coach Paul Winters and played their home games at Tom Adams Field. In 2016, they compiled a 7-4 record as a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. They finished the 2017 season with a losing record of 5-6, the first such occurrence since 2013.[1]
