31 May District
31 May District (Somali: Degmada 31 May) is a district in Hargeisa, Somaliland. It is one of the eight administrative districts of Hargeisa City.[1][2] May 31, 2001 is the date that 97 percent of voters approved a new Somaliland constitution, including a declaration of independence.[3]
