8th Engineer Brigade (United Kingdom)
8 Engineer Brigade is a formation of the British Army under 1st (United Kingdom) Division that has control over most Royal Engineers units.

History
The brigade was formed at Upavon in 2005 and, under the Army 2020 reorganisation, moved to Gibraltar Barracks at Minley in 2014.[2][3] 25th Close Support Engineer Group subsequently moved from 8th Engineer Brigade to 3rd UK Division.[4] The Brigade has been also regionally aligned with the South Asian region as part of defence engagement.[5]

- Central Volunteer Headquarters, Royal Engineers
- 12 (Force Support) Engineer Group in Wittering
- 28 Engineer Regiment, Rock Barracks and RAF Honington[8]
- 36 Engineer Regiment in Maidstone
- 75 Engineer Regiment in Warrington (Army Reserve - paired with 36 Engineer Regiment)
- 39 Engineer Regiment in Kinloss
- 71 Engineer Regiment in Leuchars (Army Reserve - paired with 39 Engineer Regiment)
- 170 (Infrastructure Support) Engineer Group in Chetwynd Barracks
- 20 Works Group Royal Engineers (Air Support) at RAF Wittering (STREs based at other RAF bases)[9][10]
- 62 Works Group Royal Engineers at Chetwynd Barracks
- 63 Works Group Royal Engineers at Chetwynd Barracks
- 65 Works Group Royal Engineers at Chetwynd Barracks (Army Reserve)
- 66 Works Group Royal Engineers at Chetwynd Barracks
- 29th (Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Search) Group in Aldershot
- 11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Search Regiment Royal Logistic Corps in Didcot
- 33 Engineer Regiment (EOD) in Wimbish
- 35 Engineer Regiment in Perham Down - Unit will be an EOD Regiment based at Carver Barracks, Wimbish[11]
- 101 (City of London) Engineer Regiment (EOD) in Wimbish
- 1 Military Working Dogs Regiment (Royal Army Veterinary Corps) in North Luffenham
