Adonijah Reid
Adonijah Reid (born August 13, 1999) is a Canadian soccer player who currently plays for Miami FC in the USL Championship.

Club career
Youth
Reid began playing at the age of five with Caledon SC, later joining ANB Futbol Academy.[1]
ANB Futbol
Reid played with ANB Futbol during their 2015 season in League1 Ontario, and finished as the league's joint highest goalscorer as a 16 year old with 20 goals in 20 appearances.[2][3] Reid had an extended trial with OGC Nice in 2016, but was unable to sign a deal due to not having a European passport, and thus signed a Generation Adidas contract with Major League Soccer ahead of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.[4] He also had trials with French club Lyon, as well as clubs in Italy and Spain.[5]
FC Dallas
On January 13, 2017, Reid with selected in the second round (40th overall) of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft by FC Dallas.[6]
Reid was released by Dallas at the end of their 2018 season.[7]
Loans to Ottawa Fury
Reid was loaned to United Soccer League side Ottawa Fury on July 7, 2017.[8] He would make his professional debut on July 29, 2017 against Toronto FC II[9] On March 9, 2018 Reid signed again with Ottawa on a season-long loan.[10] In June 2018, Reid would score a hat trick in a 3-0 win over New York Red Bulls II.[11] Reid would be named the #8 rated prospect under 20 by the league in 2018.[12] After the 2018 season, the Fury would announce that Reid would not return to the Fury for the 2019 season.[13]
Le Havre
On January 31, 2019 Reid signed with French Ligue 2 side Le Havre AC.[14]
International career
Reid attended two Canadian under-15 identification camps in 2014, and attended two Canadian development camps the following year for the under-18 and under-20 age groups as a 16 year-old.[1] In January 2018, he was called to a Canada U23 camp in preparation for qualification for the 2020 Summer Olympics.[16] Reid was named to the Canadian Under-20 squad for the 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship in October 2018.[17] He scored his first international goal in Canada's second match against Guadeloupe, netting the game-winner in a 2-1 victory.[18]
Reid is also eligible to play for Jamaica through his parents.[1]
