Jogipet municipality was constituted in 2014. Jogipet municipality is includes Jogipet town and Andole village,. The jurisdiction of the civic body is spread over an area of 21.61 km2 (8.34 sq mi).[1] MLA is Chanti Kranti Kiran (from 13 December 2018).
