Andrea Padula
Andrea Padula (born 4 April 1996) is a Swiss-born professional footballer who plays as a left back for the club Basel in the Swiss Super League. Although born in Switzerland, he only holds Romanian and Italian passports and Swiss not.[1]

Club career
Padula began his senior career with FC Chiasso, and in 2018 joined A.C. Monza on loan.[2] Padula made his professional debut with Monza in a 1-0 Serie C loss to Carrarese on 4 February 2018.[3] On 11 September 2020, Padula signed a contract with FC Basel in the Swiss Super League.[4]
Personal life
Padula is of Italian[2] and Romanian descent and does not hold a Swiss passport. His mother is from Bucharest, Romania, and Padula said that he feels Romanian and his dream is to represent the Romanian national team.[1][5]
