Aspergillus jaipurensis
Aspergillus jaipurensis (also named A. indicus) is a species of fungus in the genus Aspergillus. It is from the Nidulantes section.[2] The species was first described in 1963.[1]

In 216, the genome of A. jaipurensis was, under the A. indicus name, sequenced as a part of the Aspergillus whole-genome sequencing project - a project dedicated to performing whole-genome sequencing of all members of the genus Aspergillus.[3] The genome assembly size was 32.49 Mbp.[3]
Growth and morphology
A. jaipurensis has been cultivated on both Czapek yeast extract agar (CYA) plates and Malt Extract Agar Oxoid® (MEAOX) plates. The growth morphology of the colonies can be seen in the pictures below.
