In the 2018 election, his party of People's Justice Party (PKR) field him to contest the Putatan parliamentary seat,[1][2] facing the seat defending candidate Marcus Mojigoh from the United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Organisation (UPKO) and subsequently won.[3][4]
