Azerbaijan Grand Prix
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix (Azerbaijani: Azərbaycan Qran Prisi) is a Formula One motor race that was held for the first time in 2017.[1][2] It is held on the Baku City Circuit, a street circuit in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

History
The first Formula One Grand Prix was held in Azerbaijan as the European Grand Prix on 2016 at the Baku City Circuit. A year later, in 2017, Baku City Circuit hosted the first Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The race was held on 25 June 2017. It is one of the five Street Circuit races in 2017 along with the Singapore, Monaco, Australian and Canadian Grands Prix. The first winner of Azerbaijan Grand Prix was Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull.[3]
The 2018 Azerbaijan Grand Prix took place on 29 April 2018. The race was the 4th round of the 2018 Formula One World Championship and Lewis Hamilton became the winner of the race.[4]
In 2019 Azerbaijan Grand Prix was held on 28 April and it also was the 4th round of the World Championship. On 23 March 2020, organisers of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix announced that the race has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Later the race was cancelled and announced its coming back in 2021. It will be the 7th race of the calendar.
