Babelomurex lischkeanus

Babelomurex lischkeanus, otherwise known as the Australian coral shell[1] is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[2]

Description

The sea snail is most commonly seen with a pure white shell, that is somewhat jagged. The shell is approximately 50mm in length at adult size.[3]

Distribution

The seas snail is found along the Eastern coast of Australia, from Tasmania to the Southern parts of Queensland.[4]
