Belaichhari Upazila
Belaichari (Bengali: বিলাইছড়ি) is an upazila of Rangamati District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.[1]

Geography
Belaichari is located at 22.4667°N 92.3750°E. It has 3411 households and total area 745.92 km2.
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Belaichari has a population of 17973. Males constitute 55.39% of the population, and females 44.61%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 9547. Belaichhari has an average literacy rate of 21% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[2]
Administration
Belaichari Upazila is divided into three union parishads: Belaichari, Farua, and Kengrachari. The union parishads are subdivided into 9 mauzas and 59 villages.[3]
