Björgvin Páll Gústavsson
Björgvin Páll Gústavsson (born 24 May 1985) is an Icelandic handball player for Skjern Håndbold and the Icelandic national team.[1][2]

Career
Gústavsson grew up in Kópavogur. He has two brothers, Axel Birgir and Margeir Felix, and two sisters, Berglind Sif and Helga Lind. Berglind and Björgvin share a very special bond and he has often talked about how she inspired him to be the man he is today.
Björgvin started showing sports interest very quickly at the age of nine, Björgvin and his friend Steinþór Þorsteinsson started in handball with HK a team from Kópavogur but they transferred over to Víkingur because they never got to play, after two years with Vikingur they went back to HK. Handball was always sport number 1. He plays as a goalkeeper for the Icelandic National team.
Björgvin participated in the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing. Where he played in a big role as a goalkeeper having over 40 saves in the semi and quarter finals.
