Boliqueime

Boliqueime is a Portuguese freguesia ("civil parish"), located in the municipality of Loulé, in the region of the Algarve.[1] The population in 2011 was 4,973,[2] in an area of 46.21 km².[3] It has an altitude of 43 m (144 ft).[4]

Aníbal Cavaco Silva, president of Portugal from 2006 to 2016, was born in this village in 1939.

Located in central Algarve, 20 km from Faro airport it is a well preserved small village 5 minutes away from the inland typical village of Loulé and the coast towns of Vilamoura and Albufeira
