British High Commission, Abuja
The British High Commission Abuja is the diplomatic mission of the British sovereign and the British Government to Nigeria, representing the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom's interests. It is located at Maitama in Abuja, the federal capital territory of Nigeria. The current High Commissioner is Catriona Laing CB. She is the first woman to take up the position as British High Commission in Nigeria. The British High Commission in Abuja covers consular services for the States of Nigeria.[1] The High Commission has regional offices, the Deputy High Commissions, at Walter Carrington Crescent, Victoria Island, Lagos and the Deputy High Commissioner is Ambassador Peter Carter Leslie.[2]
