The Siyay is a Type 400 AP1-88 ACV. Her sister ship, the CCGH Sipu Muin, is based at Trois-Rivières, Quebec. The Siyay is one of two hovercraft currently operating out of the Sea Island Coast Guard Station. The other hovercraft is the CCGH Moytel.
The primary mission of Siyay is to perform search and rescue missions on the Fraser River delta and its navigable tributaries, as well as the Georgia Strait. Occasionally the Siyay performs navigational aid maintenance.
