Christ the King College (Gingoog)
Christ the King College (CKC) is a Catholic school for both boys and girls located in Gingoog, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. It is administered by the Religious of the Virgin Mary, the first pontifically approved congregation for women in the Philippines. It was started in 1947 to formalize Catholic education in the city. The school initially opened with a high school department, and only a year after, it offered Elementary Education for college students. In 1953, sisters from the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM) began teaching religion and theology subjects to the students. Eventually, the RVM sisters managed the college, taking over the previous Jesuit administration. It provides Preparatory, Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary education.
