Christian Provenzano
Christian Provenzano is a Canadian politician, who was elected mayor of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario in the 2014 municipal election.[1]

Career
The nephew of former federal Member of Parliament Carmen Provenzano,[2] he previously ran for election to Parliament as the Liberal candidate in the electoral district of Sault Ste. Marie in the 2006 federal election and the 2011 federal election.[2] He used to worked for the Liberal Party as chief of staff to former leader Michael Ignatieff.[2]
He secured re-election to a second term by a wide margin in the 2018 municipal election,[3] garnering 70.15% of the vote.[4]
