Born in Belgium, he represents Angola at international level.
Career
Born in Verviers, Belgium, Mata has played club football for Eupen, Charleroi, Genk and Club Brugge.[1][2]
In July 2014 he was asked to switch his international allegiance to Angola.[3] He made his debut for Angola later that year.[2]
